We enjoyed our stay at the White Hart. We got a room in the back of the building overlooking a garden. We loved sitting out there and relaxing. The room was a nice size and comfortable. We live locally however needed a New Haven hotel for our wedding guests as well as ourselves. The Blake was perfect! A beautiful property centrally located to downtown, Yale, and the entertainment area of the city. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the city!

We truly had a terrific experience. We drove New Jersey with my granddaughter who is doing her sevond Master’s Degree in Scotland. She needed Research materials at the Yale Library. We arrived at The Study at 10 am instead of the 3 pm check in. The front desk clerks were exceptional and said our rooms were ready! I was impressed by the historic charm of the hotel. There is even a dedicated room detailing the history of the area, educational significance and courthouse beginnings. The court room restaurant and rooftop bar are definitely worth a visit. The rooms were spacious and clean. We will definitely be back.

From the moment I arrived I knew my stay would be peaceful and comfortable. This is not a corporate, antiseptic hotel that could sit anywhere, this is a home. The welcome is appreciated after a long day.
