“Beautiful place with lovely surroudings, staff are all very friendly”

“I cannot say enough, about how wonderful marine Troon is. For starters, It is a pitching wedge away from Royal Troon golf club for the golfers in the crowd. The course literally passes within 50 feet of Marine Troon! The pool, hot tub steam, and sauna are lovely after a round! But, what makes Marine Troon truly outstanding is the helpfulness, courtesy, professionalism, and kindness of the staff! From the moment I walked in, Gary, Cameron, Grant, June, Nancy, Ethan — too many people to mention……

“we booked the family room with 2 double beds. the room was larger than expected, so quite comfortable for a family with 2 kids. BUT the corridor just outside of the room was smelling of weed. terrible if you have kids. The breakfast was lower than the average. Sea view through the window is nice and perfect location for an evening walk on the shore.”

“My main problem was sorted once I reported it, but it was an unusual scenario, I believe, in that my room had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. The manager was superb in accepting my observations and promised to get the room cleaned by housekeeping the following day whilst I was out (I stayed for 2 nights). However, that did mean that I had to stay and sleep in a room that wasn't clean and I had to sterilise my mug, saucer and spoon. I also found the bathroom lacking - it had no……

“The hotel was marvellous. We were there for a wedding and everything was fantastic including the breakfast next morning. I'll never use Expedia again as I thought I had booked a suite but they actually booked us into the lodge, which is very nice but my wife has difficulty walking and the lodge was well away from the main hotel. Also. It separated us from the rest of the party.”

“Really quaint hotel with such English charm! The staff was amazing ( shout out to Sergio - the jack of all trades! ), our dinner was awesome and abundant. Only stayed one night, but would definitely stay here again if in the area. Didn’t golf, but the course is just across the street. Highly recommend!”
