“On arrival at the hotel, there was a long lineup at the front desk for check-in. After getting our room keys, we walked in the room and it was full of bugs and there was blood on the bathroom door. We called the front desk, and they sent a bellhop right away with keys to another room on a higher floor which was much better and the balcony was screened so bugs couldn't get in. Of the two elevators in the wing, only one was working, so getting to and from our room wasn't easy. The stairs didn't……

“I think the hotel was very nice, good price, nice pool, good breakfast. But, I staple of mine growing up was to ask if our linen could be changed so it feels like a fresh bed. I usually wait til the 2nd day to ask. I asked if someone could come by and change our bed linen. The young woman at the front to me they would as long as the “do not disturb” was not on the handle.. long story short, for the additional 2 days, the beds were not made. Unfortunate but it was the only ask”
