“We arrived right at check in time and waited a long time in line. We stayed on the 6th floor of the West Wing and the roof was leaking. The hallway wasn't cleaned the entire weekend with pizza boxes and coffee creamers just sitting on the floors and used disposable gloves and crumbs. The hotel had a trash can collecting water for a whole stay that it never emptied. The room isn't the cleanest. It looked like the corners or behind the furniture hadn't been cleaned in forever. The sleeper chair is……

“The water park is pretty miss. The hot tub doesnt even have jets for your back… just on your legs. The lazy river is very shallow. The slides are pretty boring.”

“The hotel is basically average overall but is relatively well located. The breakfast was also ok, nice that it’s included but still pretty average. There was an issue for three days with regards to the Wi-Fi that was never dealt with appropriately and which staff did not appear to address very proactively. There likely are better options for hotels than this one in Sandusky and it’s not even that inexpensive for a Canadian traveler.”

“The staff were hardworking and committed to creating a good environment for guests. I noticed the maintenance staff fixing issues quickly. The cleaning and housekeeping staff working diligently to keep floors and rooms clean. I extended my stay to over 10 days, firstly for the price point, then and for the respect I was given by staff. I asked for extra towels, toilets paper and trash bags and was generously given these. They were able to accommodate my later checkout and offer excellent……

“We booked this room as it was the only available room in short notice. After reading the other reviews we were genuinely worried. However, the hotel exceeded expectations. Our room was generally clean. There was some dust on the bed frame, the cleaning crew missed a flossing pic, and there was a black hair on the bed. This certainly isn’t a luxury hotel by any means, but was adequate for our weekend stay. There is the pool bar, and several other bars just outside. If you’re going to be partying……
