“Absolutely wonderful property. Great vibe that makes you feel like you’re going back in time. Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic, if you don’t mind a few canine guests as well. Our top floor room looked over the river and was very peaceful and quiet. Comfortable big room very clean with an excellent staff. The Abbey ruins are just a few yards away right across the parking lot. Just love this place and hope to get to return someday.”

“A rather old fashioned and somewhat dowdy hotel. Our room was somewhat antique, but clean with a modern bathroom. There were large windows and a glass door from outside into the room. We had to try several windows to find one that was open. There were large floor to ceiling curtains that were difficult to draw and did not properly cut out the outside light. There were few amenities provided in the room, limited toiletries, no bottled water, etc. There is a car park but we only managed to squeeze……
