What a gem! Beautiful hotel filled with character 10 minutes walk from Princes Street. Rooms are lovely with White Company toiletries and impeccably clean. Breakfast was great with large portions to set you up for the day. Would recommend to friends and family.
Hotel was great from moment we arrived as we were treated to a free upgrade to a Suite which was a great room with fantastic bathroom. Staff were very pleasant and always helpful. We will definitely go back.
Not too far from city centre, 15 minute walk, part off is uphill. Suite room very spacious, large ensuite bath/shower room. WiFi available but intermittent in our room. Large comfortable bed, tea making facilities but no fridge. Breakfast was very good and served to your table. I would definitely ...
Its every once in a while when you find a boutique hotel where attention and care are really focused on the guest experience. Weeks before arriving at this hotel the staff were providing recommendations, reservation and help on a number of fronts. During our stay they were attentive yet subtle. The ...
Overall very pleasant, good central location. No lift so access to upper floors via a staircase which might be difficult for those with mobility issues
Lovely hotel though undergoing refurb of some areas due to a fire. This meant breakfast served in rooms which may suit others but was a slight disappointment to us. Very nice decoration and very friendly and helpful staff.
This hotel is close to fantastic restaurants and pubs - try Bon Vivant (good restaurant not pricey), El Cartel (Mexican no bookings), Queens Arms (gastropub), The Cambridge (burgers). This hotel has no lobby which I loved. Rooms are high specification and very big comfortable beds
great stay. nice for the price, actually more on the regal side for the price than you'd expect. tram stop to airport is in front of hotel so its very easy in and out of city from here
Amazing close to everything bars etc very friendly peaple
The restaurant manager was superb and very helpful
Surprised my wife with an overnight at Tiger Lily. Great experience, staff were attentive and friendly, they made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Georgian suite, what an amazing room. It made our trip. Would highly recommend Tiger Lily to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
Perfect location for sight seeing. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast.
This is a little gem! Great breakfast, charming hosts Paul and John. Lovely and clean. Just perfect !
Often there are some good staff in a hotel, it is very rare to find that all staff are so helpful, informative and pleasant however that is what you get at the Howard - well done to them. I was surprised that everyone could be so good, all the time. The room was very nice and you are close to the ...
Couldn't fault our reception nor the size and cleanliness of our room. Floorboards and bed unfortunately a bit on the creaky side! Other than than, great location and would stay again.
Can't praise this hotel and its staff enough. We had a wonderful stay and will be returning soon.
Excellent location, really quick and efficient check in and staff throughout were fantastic. Would highly recommend The Glasshouse.
Sadly this was only a one night stay before heading home. We were met by the owner on arrival & shown around the entrance lobby & guest lounge before going up to see our room, we chose The Morrison Room. The room was large with a super-king bed, very clean, it smelt fresh & aired. The room had plenty ...
Nice accommodations, good food, very nice staff. Very convenient to bus stop, also. Quick ride to Royal Mile.
Idyllic setting and hotel an absolute dream. They will happily prepare dinner for you but there is no drinks license so a bring your own requirement - plus it's a set dinner, but nevertheless delicious.. No lift so not suitable for disabled guests as bedrooms are on 2nd floor. One of those stays ...
Location wasn’t ideal - nothing around. Just went for the castle experience. Furnishings are dated, but that’s expected. Very clean. Great restaurant, too bad it’s in the basement.
