“We stayed one night and I appreciated the design of the hotel, with unique details. It was a little loud for my taste, apparently my neighbors had a problem at night and had to change rooms - they were not quiet about it. It was a random weekday so I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend. The staff tried to be really nice but there was a lot of confusion. None of them seemed to know about a complimentary cocktail besides welcome champagne even though it's listed right on the amenity page of……

“Perfect location if attending events at ford field. Room was larger than expected and very clean. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Valet wait was long but with the special events going on it was to be expected”

“After we unpacked and settled into our room our air conditioner ceased working. We were moved to another room that was not even half as nice as the one we left. So we were inconvenience and had to repack for our room transfer because our air conditioner didn't work and we were given a much smaller room with a terrible view of rooftops filled with mechanical units on top of them. The staff was pleasant as they demoted us.”

“Very unique property. Staff was very attentive and nice. Beds were comfy. Close to Comerica Park. Easy to walk. Remember there is no elevator, so pack lightly!”

“This is a historic, charming old home. With that, expect to use stairs to reach your room. We stayed a week and had housekeeping service only twice during our stay. The desk staff was very accommodating and filled our request for toilet paper and towels quickly, with a smile. They made us feel very at home and welcome. We enjoyed the common room with a phonograph and classic albums. The bed was very comfortable. The house was quiet and well air conditioned. We slept great! I would stay……

“We had an early morning flight, so we opted to stay in Detroit and dine at the hotel. The hotel’s a cool remodeled fire house and bank , the location was conveniently situated just off the highway. The staff was exceptional, and the food was really good. What more could I possibly want?! Additionally, as a platinum member at Expedia , I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated.”
