“A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! ”

“The staff was very pleasant even at 11 pm for a late check in. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and our room was clean and beautiful. There is a washer and dryer in the room so bring some detergent if your looking to keep you clothes was for your stay. The kitchen was pretty new looking and the fireplace was pretty. There isn't any USB ports in the room so make sure you have a charger with a plug. The tv also was not a smart TV but there was a dvd player. Parking is first come first serve so……

“This was a spur of the moment reservation due to other options being unavailable. And I am so glad I went with it. Ms Claudia is so cute and sweet. And accommodating. Per request she allowed me to set up decorations. And breakfast. Which she made, was right on time and delicious. The room was the perfect size for a couple to use for their stay. And overall it was a very relaxing and entertaining weekend spent. If you are not familiar with Va. a bunch of the historical places you will visit will……

“The property was fine, but the front desk staff never told us that parking was an additional $20/day + tax. He simply handed us the parking pass. (This was AFTER our room was not ready at the promised check in time of 4pm. We had to wait almost 2 hours to get into our room.) Nor was the parking fee outlined on our reservation confirmation email from Wxpedia nor the email from Marriott. When I spoke to the manager about it, her reply was, “It’s on our website and all the booking sites. I know……
