“PROS: The area is cute, walkable to buses, and there’s a sweet lobby kitty. The building is historic, with nice architecture. One front desk staff member was awesome, but the others during our stay were a bit less friendly. None were rude or unprofessional. They gave us fresh washcloths when they weren’t able to clean the room. “My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room door would not close properly unless it was slammed, and the trim around the door was dirty and visibly falling apart. The $20+ buffet breakfast was completely unacceptable — poor quality and not worth the price. More concerning was the ongoing construction noise coming from the adjacent room, including drilling, grinding, and loud music. When I raised this with the front desk, I was repeatedly given inaccurate and dismissive……

“It was skeptical at first. I didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into, then I met who also was staying there, it was not all that bad. I had a good time. We were not there as much. Pinball is great if you know how to play. Thank you.”
