"We were excited to stay at the Blue Star motel for the first time! We’ve always stayed right in town normally and this was a change for us. Our room was absolutely beautiful, so quaint, very clean and very comfortable. Loved the back deck area with pavilion and plenty of space to stretch out. The location was ideal as we could avoid the chaos in downtown Saugatuck and opt for other places to try for shopping and for eating. The Blue Star cafe was delicious! And right next door was the best...

"It was a nice property. Everything was very clean. Only gripe is the bit in the ad calling it "walkable." The property sits on Blue star Highway and there is no sidewalk. I would recommend bringing a bike, as everything we visited is a nice short *bikeride* away. The stairs are also a bit rickety, but I would only advise caution if someone in your party has mobility issues."

"A perfect spot when you want to be by the beach. The beds were comfortable, the screened in porch was amazing, and the kitchen was just right. There are plenty of towels for when you want to walk to the beach. Beautiful and tranquil setting. Great communicating with the host. Highly recommend!"

"Quiet secluded spot with plenty of sunshine. Lovely view of the water without any close-by water traffic. Swans and geese paddling by frequently and the bird calls from the shallows right across from the lake's edge is neat to hear. Good bird-watching from the firepit and deck. Slept the 10 in our party wonderfully in the many bedrooms. Kitchen is brand new with most appliances and kitchen items never previously used.I left my suit hanging in the closet.
