worst hotel stay

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Pros: location
Cons: the smell, the wifi, use of business services, the breakfast, having people at front desk
i have stayed in alot of cheap hotels over the years because lets face it price is the issue. however upon walking into this hotel you can smell that it has mold, the wifi signal is weak no matter where you stay the breakfast is dissappoininting at best. while the rooms are fairly clean, you can clearly see the mold growing in the shower and various places in the bathroom. unfortunately for me i was coming from out of state and had my one year old with me who developed a rash and we both are allergic to mold, so we spent our time blowing noses sneezing and just uncomfortable in general. i would say this hotel is only for a sleep overnight and hit the road in the morning type of deal. when the people were at the front desk they were helpful, hoever more times than not no one was there. no printing or business services, channels in room fuzzy, just below par overall, however when having to choose by price is suppose this is what happens, however no price should cover mold

Air conditioning did not work well. The entire hotel felt like a sauna. Cigar smoke permeated the hallways and the front desk staff is rude.

Female Solo Traveler (Felt Very Safe)

Posted May 30, 2016 on Hotels
This room was great! I smoke so I didn't mind the hall filled with smoke. They placed me in a room near the end of the hall (away from most traffic near the stairs). Lots of restaurants and places to go. I loved Quantico and the Marine Museum. I was able to find everything I needed (Post Office, Nail Salon, Restaurants, Dry Cleaners etc.) I was on a small budget. I felt safe here and would return if funds are very low.

Spend a few more dollars to go elsewhere.

Horrible. The hallways smelled like it was a tobacco plant. The only good news was the rooms did not. The rooms were dirty with hair all over including the bed. The bed did not even have a bed sheet. There are some weird large bumps in the flooring underneath the carpets like the building was used for something else and then they decided to convert it to a hotel. Windows and TV are being cleaned with some solution that leaves a film on everything. Honestly expected better because of a nationally recognized brand name, but this was just like a wretched motel that you see as a backdrop to movies like Me, Myself, and Irene.
