When we arrived early we asked where we could go to wait for our room to be ready. We were told we could go to the pool area. I asked where it was. We went to go look for it, and upon finding it realized you need a key to get in. We were told “we would have to give you one.” We asked where the pool was why wouldn’t they have told us we needed a key. We were here for a Wedding, which the hotel was aware of as there was a dinner that night at the hotel. At the dinner, a drink was spilled on my husband where it soaked all of his clothes. When I asked the next day if they would clean his shirt, there was much hesitation and they said they would see what they can do as we were leaving the next day, but as it had to be dry cleaned, we decided to just forget it. But we felt it should’ve been offered to clean his clothes as everything he was wearing got so wet he had to change. Next, as the wedding had an early start time and we needed to be ready by noon, It should not have been too difficult to let the cleaning staff know to wait till 12 for the rooms of hotel guests preparing for a wedding. This is a nice property, but overall felt the expectations after reading reviews as well as description of the property were set high and were not met. Front desk staff was efficient but I would not say friendly. Breakfast is nice, varied. Property is clean and rooms are spacious but lack of attention to details was noted.

Toller Ort um einfach Mal abzuschalten.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und extrem aufmerksam. Wir haben unserem Babymoon inkl. Hund im Hotel verbracht und waren mega glücklich. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zu entspannen. Durch die vielen verschiedenen Räume verteilt es sich gut und wir waren oftmals alleine im Wellnessbereich:) Das Essen war sehr gut und auch das Frühstück war fantastisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Kurztrip in die Ortenau

Wir haben eine Nacht im Hotel Ritter verbracht. Das Haus wirkt auf den ersten Blick unübersichtlich. Wir haben einen Moment gebraucht, um uns zurecht zu finden. Der Wellness- Bereich ist auf mehreren Etagen im ganzen Hotel verteilt zu finden. Was für uns etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war. Hervorragend war das Abendessen in einer wunderschönen alten Stube mit tollem Service bei schönem Ambiente. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend. Es wirkte allerdings, dass der Rest des Personals, sowohl im Houskeeping, als auch im Wellnessbereich und im Service tagsüber etwas knapp bemessen war. Kleine Details wie stehengebliebenes Geschirr, oder Krümel in einigen Sitzecken und nicht ganz saubere Hotelgänge haben diesen Eindruck erweckt. Das gesamte Personal war immer sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
