"The rooms were very clean . Small but modern and functional. Had an issue with our AC not cooling properly and they were there within 20 minutes to fix it . The staff were very accommodating. Will store luggage before and even after check out which was great to allow us to go out and about and not have to worry about out bringing our luggage everywhere . The building at night was exceptionally quiet despite being in the heart of everything. Arranged a flat fee SUV for the 5 of us back to the airport . The breakfast although very crowded, always had plenty of options , from waffles to eggs , bacon , sausage , parfaits and more . Many complained of the elevators but we only had a line up one time when others were checking out . Other than that , very quick . There are some Reno’s being completed in lobby but didn’t affect anything . You can go downstairs from the lobby and there is a seating area and coffee / tea and a bathroom of waiting to check in or to leave. Great location that allowed us to walk to Times Square, the theatres and the hop on / hop off bus tours . Also had a deli, pizza place , variety store and ice cream store directly across the road which was very convenient! Would definitely stay here again should we return to NYC in the future !"

"Hotel is like a city with 2000 rooms and the lobby starts from 8 floor onwards Rooms are clean and tidy , the staff are very hospitable , and the breakfast spread aa Alacarte or buffet was great as you have two options to choose Only one concern is that being Elite Gold plus is useless in Mariott as it does not have any privileges or importance. I am a gold Elite plus member but I found it useless,being platinum or titanium has its advantages of room upgrade or using the the club facilities or early in ,late check out advantages"

"Hotel was perfectly located for what we were in NYC for, MOMA, a play, Central Park, time square at night! Room was clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was sufficient with great water pressure! Hotel is secure- card keys to get to elevators, then needed to use to press your floor button. If anything to be said, no outlet near right side of bed ( rm 331), AC wasn't keeping up with demand, although it was on and it was cool enough in there! There also is no fridge, so got ice in hallway. Building is very old , being held up very nicely!"
