One night stop.

Pros: Staff was very courteous.
Cons: Breakfast should include something besides high carbohydrates and sugar items and sugar free syrup. Should not have a hidden $1.50 fee (room safe).
Conveniently located. Carpets are old. It was quiet and staff was helpful.

Safety big concern. Noise till 2:00 in the a.m.. Dirty bathroom and mustiness hangs in the air. Staff efficient and pleasant.

attach of the bed bugs

Pros: The check in went smooth
Cons: Bed bugs
Location: work related visit so no time for fun
This was my 2nd time to stay here in a week. First visit was ok, second was basically ok until the bed bugs started biting. Ended up sleeping in a chair. Told housekeeping about the bugs and told the front desk at checkout about them. Got an "oh my". I had to bring it up as there was no "how was your stay?" or "was everything alright with your room?".

Great over night stay.

Friendly staff, comfortable room with all the things you need, microwave, refig and internet. Good location close to stores and restaurants.

Disappointing

Cons: Total gut and renovation
Location: Easy access to the convention center, community college, and downtown historic square and shops.
This is the worst motel I have ever stayed at. 1) The ceiling was falling down, degraded ceiling tiles. 2)The bathroom had unsightly clumps of caulking to fill in and repair/reaffix the tub surround and the rubber baseboard molding. 3)The clothes hanging bar and rack were rusted. 4)There were cigarette burn on the sink in a "non-smoking room". 5) The furniture was old, marred, with off track drawers. 6) the bed felt like sleeping on the floor. with thin inadequate linens and blankets.. 7) The air conditioner had to be set at 66 degrees to cool the room to about 73 degrees. It also blew stale, musty air. 8) I suffer from mold allergies and awoke with blood shot, swollen eyes and a sore throat as a reaction to the air quality in the room, which is a standard reaction to mold. Even with a discount rate for the room, I paid too much.

Room was comfortable and clean. Area doesn't have a lot to see unless there is a special event going on. I would be interested in checking out the musicfest. It looks like fun. Downtown looks to be entertaining, but we didn't make it in time to enjoy the shops.
