Few amenitiesPosted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: Clean comfortable room and very nice staff.
Cons: Wifi needs lots of work.
Location: I was there for a funeral so I didn't do any sight seeing.
I booked a smoking room and none were available. The pool was closed. Wifi did not work in my section of the hotel. They offered to move me to another room but the wifi there was so weak I could not get a signal. The rooms were nice and the staff was wonderful. The owners are doing major renovations and this place should be very nice when they finish.

Pleasant surprisePosted Jul 30, 2012
Pros: spacious room, clean room friendly staff.
Cons: Outside appearance, not great, restaurant next door not usable, ice in office, not closer to room.
Location: The location is good near main street with various food places nearby such as Waffle House, Wendy's, O'charley's and steakhouses.
We had a meeting to attend in Gallatin, and was looking for a hotel nearby. I was sceptical about the HouseGuest hotel since this was our first time staying in a hotel in this city and was not familiar with this hotel. The ones we knew of were too far or not available or farther away. So, we had few options and tried it.We were pleasantly surprised. There were only a fews cars there. We had a double room for a Thursday and Friday night. The room was large with 2 sinks, There were food places and gas stations close so we could furel up both ways..Would like to go again when we have more time to relax,

It's OK if you need to stay in that location.Posted Jan 15, 2010
Motel is definitely a 1-star!! Room was old, but pretty clean, but ice machines were broken and TV remote was not the right one for the TV. There are only 2 motels in this town and they were both 1-star rated. This one allowed pets, so we chose it. It was close to where we were celebrating New Year's Eve, so the convenience of the location was important. They need to re-open the restaurant attached to the motel. We had to walk to a nearby fast food restaurant to get ice, which meant we had to buy a burger to get the ice. We thought the price we paid was too much for what we got. If you're not into flashy, high end motel rooms, this is the place.
