Property review
Property was beautiful. We had some issues with the plumbing and with large parties it was a problem. Communication with the maintenance team was a challenge as well.

2/5 Poor

It has been already a month since my family and I went to spend our vacation in this cabin. We were very excited. Before our travel the managers were always very responsive, which made me feel confident that anything we would need was going to be addressed in a timely manner. The main reason why I decided to write a review is because I just read the last posted review of the cabin and the person who wrote it states that their stay ended September 26th, that is the date when my stay began. I'm still shaking and so nervous to know about this irresponsibility. The country and the world are upside down with the COVID 19 pandemic and I exposed my little kids and family not being aware of this situation; we literally enter the cabin the same day that another family left. I feel identified with the previous review, we expected a beautiful and neat cabin; it is beautiful but it seemed to be abandoned. It was so dirty everywhere. We had to deep clean and wash the bed clothes before doing anything else. My family and I planned this vacation for so long, and thought we made the best choice, but the cabin was extremely dirty, from the bed clothes to the floor, and all the bathrooms, the pictures in the website are out of date and not honest. We paid an expensive cleaning fee and really I feel stolen. The manager answered me back the first and the second day, from then never again, not even to say good bye. It is going to be hard for me to trust this kind of business again. We loved Tennessee, it is absolutely beautiful, visited many places there and hope to go back soon, but we will rent to property owners that take good care of their properties and respect the families that come over to visit. Deeply disappointed.

September Mountain Retreat
The property worked out well, we enjoyed ourselves. With that said the property was dated and it showed. If we had an issue it was more with the management company. When we arrived we could tell the cleaning crew had been there, but to be honest it was filthy. We decided since we were there already, we would do a once over ourselves before starting our vacation. Huge amounts of dust and cobwebs everywhere, floors were sticky throughout, pills and trash on the floors in 3 of the bedrooms. We had a group of 16 and expected additional guests for a few dinners and realized the double oven was broken, missing racks and one of the ovens was unusable. Challenging at best. Four of the kitchen chairs were broken and falling apart. Refrigerator needed a new filter, the electronic game console didn't work, one of the tubs was clogged and the hot tub cover was in such bad shape we didn't want to even try and remove it because there were signs all over stating we'd owe $350 if we damaged the cover. This property although dated and lacking the proper cleaning was laid out well and served our purposes as a group looking for a getaway. As stated above my issue is with the management company. They should do a better job partnering with their vendors and then notifying renters of these situations prior to them checking in. We followed the rules and notified them of all issues and were told that the management company would be in touch to discuss these issues and give me their thoughts on a possible solution. Didn't really expect much but thought I'd at least get a call. Our stay ended September 26th and it's now October 5th and still no contact. What might put this in perspective is shortly after our stay ended we received the standard review request requesting a five star rating, but with this verbatim request: "Negative reviews can really hurt us, so if you can’t leave at least a 4 Star Review, we ask that you please NOT leave an online review but that you email us privately?" Obviously I was a little put off, but understood. I'm sure this review might jeopardize my chances at a response but hopefully they'll get the message, make the necessary improvements and do the right thing and call. Enjoy your vacation and while our rental experience had some challenges, it was generally positive, but in the future we'll probably look at properties managed by another company. Hope your stay is 5 star though!

5/5 Excellent

Wonderful cabin for large groups
We had a group of 12 adults and had plenty of room. The cabin has a spectacular view! The location was perfect! Just a short drive into town. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a large group. There is plenty to do in the cabin with a great game room and theater space.
