Cons: Appearance and staff at desk
The man at the front desk reminded me of Eore the donkey on Winnie The Pooh, just plain bored to death and negative. Seemed like we were a bother to him. We will not stay there again. It was just ok for cleanliness but the outside was disgusting for the most part. Felt like we were on a slum of a front porch with tore up couch out there, many several items just thrown around. Just not our kind of place.

wine train weekend

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: It is just an outdated hotel. I think they are trying to make improvments.
Location: We went up for the wine and cheese train which was awesome.
I was expecting less so I was pleasantly surprised.

Clean, convenient, good value

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: On I-70 exit, quiet, gas stations/visitor center across the street, short drive to historic town center with lots of free parking. Good dollar value.
Cons: No one in breakfast room or at front desk to service requests/shortages - no knives available, problems with toaster. TV channel listing not correct.
Location: Georgetown is delightful small town and worth half day visit. three blocks of lovely restored buildings, good shops. Hotel Paris tour was excellent.
Convenient - right off the exit - quiet, especially if on the east lower wing. Rooms were basic but very clean and well cared for - instant hot water in sink/shower, good mattress, good sized rooms.

Convenient, inexpensive motel

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Room was clean and had everything we needed. However, I went to make coffee in the little coffee pot and discovered there was still old coffee in it from the previous vacationers-yuck! There didn't seem to be anyone around to 'refresh' things at breakfast (juice, coffee both empty one morning) and milk and yogurt just sit on the counter getting warm. It was close enough to walk downtown to all the cute little shops and restaurants, which was a plus.

Beautiful mountain town

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: It's location...
Cons: Most everything...except location
Location: Beautiful mountain town.
Rude reception...treated more like an inconvenience than a guest...cigarette burn on the blanket...roach in the bathroom...worst "complimentary breakfast" EVER!

I loved the functionality of the place.

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Convenient and affordable.
Location: Georgetown is a historical gem.
My credit card changed from when I booked the room. So my old credit card was declined. They still held the room for me and it was greatly appreciated.

Would not recommend this hotel.

Pros: Location.
Cons: The friendliness of the staff and hotel rooms and grounds need to be cleaned up and maintained.
Location: Fun Main Street area and some good restaurants. We climbed Mt. Bierstadt and had a great time.
We were met at the front desk with, "What do you want." Also, our room was never cleaned. Grounds outside were dirty and lawn was not maintained.

Would have been good to know ahead of time that the hot tub was out of commission

the only hotel with a vacancy in town.

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: The staff were nice.
Location: Historic Georgetown, about a mile up the road is a totally charming, picturesque old village, with nice museums, restaurants and shops.
The bedroom was as nice as it could be, but still not so inviting. The bathroom was small and not very inviting. The toilet was too close to the wall for comfort. But the main problem was tiny little bugs. I killed at lest 2 dozen of them before turning out my lights, but I left the lights on in the sink area so they would be attracted to them. The next morning, there were at least 40 dead or dying bugs in my sink, plus a big moth. I didn't even want to take a shower there. Also, the internet was not on in the rooms, and I had to use the breakfast room. I would not want to go back.

Nice location in mountains

We had reservations but on arrival had to change to SMOKING room because we have a small dog. Room old, furnishings shabby. Behind bathroom door it was very dirty. Pubic hair around tub & toilet. When took shower, stood on 6 in of water. We got in late after driving long day & too late to call office. Will not stay here again. TERRIBLE!!
