To experience it firsthand, take a trip to East Hampton.
You will have no trouble finding a room that will suit your needs. There are at least 3 close by. The Hedges Inn and East Hampton House Resort are some strong candidates, and they're only 2 miles from Guild Hall.
For both comfort and affordability, book a few nights at the 380 Inn, a short trip of 3 miles.
If you love to live a lavish life, don't hesitate to book your room at one of the area's upmarket hotels. The 434 on Main and the Maidstone are two establishments you should put on your shortlist.
Half the fun of visiting Guild Hall is sampling the local cafes. For a caffeinated pick-me-up or a tasty snack, you can't go wrong with Starbucks (39 Main Street, East Hampton). But if you're really hungry, walk over to 1770 House (143 Main Street, East Hampton) for a full meal.
To access Guild Hall by rail, take the train to East Hampton. The stop is within walking distance and one of the most convenient ways to get to the attraction.
