"I loved the way this older historic hotel has been renovated. The original floors, lobby and main rooms remind you of its history while the rooms, bedding, and amenities are up to date. The music in the various rooms changes creating an ambiance reminder of the old mixed with the new. Staff is very very attentive. I loved seeing the children at the pool, playing on the extensive lawn and all dressed in their resort casual for dinners. It reminded me of all the special reasons families love this resort. We really enjoyed the "specialness" of this place. "

"I loved the property check in was easy i had a wonderful vacation. The unique thing was the atmosphere and the indoor pool was cool and the building could be opened so it wasnt hot or miserable. Breakfast was great and staff was friendly. "

"The one huge dislike was the parking!! Four wheelers are allowed to take up parking spots with their four wheelers so there are no spots for guests with their vehicles!! Why shouldn't they have to park their recreational vehicles out by the tree line instead of taking up all the spaces by the rooms??"
