4/5 Good

Made the best of it.
Overall it's I nice place. Jobe the host was a good host. The problem is it was listed as a two bedroom but it only has one bedroom with two beds. It needs hotnwater to the sink in the cabin.
Stayed 3 nights in Nov 2021

4/5 Good

Perfect location
Great out of the way place within reasonable distance to branson and the lakes.

5/5 Excellent

Absolutely loved this little cabin
The little cabin was adorable, and perfect for out 2 week stay. It had everything we needed minus food, though there was some on the shelves. The firepit was close to the cabin and partially under a tree which was perfect for when it rained, and our son had a great time on the zipline. Wes is the nicest guy and helped us with everything we needed. The trails are beautiful and quite an adventure to go through, with a lot of wildlife lurking around. The bath house was very clean and the shower was great with plenty of hot water. They put in a new washer and dryer while we were there, and they let us use the other cabins washer and dryer before that. I highly recommend staying at this cozy cabin. We've been in quite a few VRBOs in the area lately and this one was by far the best

2/5 Poor

Good location but needs cleaning
This location is GREAT since you are just a mile or so from several things to do near Mammoth Springs. The check in process was easy and simple. I texted the owner and asked a few questions and had quick and friendly responses! It was nice having our own place, not bothered by anyone else. Cool backyard area with hiking trails, lots of space for my boys to throw football and baseball. That being said, their cleaners do a very poor job. We had a friend stay in the big cabin next to us in the property and we ended up moving out of the tiny portable building bc it was so poorly cleaned, and we felt very unsafe. The portable building itself was super cute and would have been perfect for my two young boys and I but I felt unsafe due to the doorknob practically falling off upon arrival. It had a horrible stench, dog hair was everywhere, dishes weren’t clean and there were cockroaches. There was also sippy cups left in the backyard from previous guests, as well as grilled chicken left on the grill. I’m very low maintenance, so I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect things to be clean. This would be a fantastic 5 star little place if they could find someone else to clean it. That being said, once we moved into the cabin next door with our friend, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back to Mammoth Springs. If the place was clean and the doorknob fixed, I would definitely stay again, but I would not recommend as is.

3/5 Okay

Not all that
The hot water was not enough for more than one person to enjoy. There was no hot water in the cabin just the bathroom area. There was no washer and dryer like it said, they had no trash bags. The bed was lopped sided and the wrong end of bed frame stuck out and we all got hurt pretty bad luckily we were not cut or hurt worse. The microwave was filthy the fridge was dirty it was dusty underneath the beds its so dirty the ac was so dirty dust and bugs in it. I had to clean it so the ac would work properly, since the filter had not been clean in a long while. The blankets were stained the pull out bed was very thin very dirty crumbs ALL OVER. No wifi available the terrain is difficult to walk on lots of rocks have to be cautious make sure you wear shoes. Lots of spiders 🕷 made friends with one banana spider hanging out by the door. The area did have kayak canoe and tube rentals other than that not much to really do. Lots of places are closed forget about horseback riding they don't offer it anymore. Stores are close enough to drive walmart is not a supercenter they don't have a lot of food choices. I also never received the code on my reservations had to contact host. Reception is bad so its hard to communicate well. The trip was not horrible but I would have never stayed had I really known the conditions. I would have definitely avoided this place considering we have to pay the cleaning fee when it's not clean to begin with.
