There is a queen sofa bed in the living room, perfect for any additional children, and a bonus storage room for luggage and extras. The living room Hunter Douglas privacy shades offer top-down/bottom-up screening, allowing you to enjoy the local view and maintain privacy. The nine-foot-plus high ceilings, southern exposure, and the hardwood flooring all give this private getaway a pleasant feeling of space and elegance. Bikers can store their bikes in the garage and enjoy the gravel roads in the area. These guest quarters are new in 2016, have a private entrance and generous parking, and are well-separated from the classic Vermont vernacular original 1840s farmhouse.

This home is centrally located between Quechee and Woodstock (5 miles to downtown), with Hanover, NH (the home of Dartmouth College) just 20 minutes away. Enjoy Mt. Ascutney for hiking, biking, and major VT skiing, or book a room for Dartmouth Graduation, the Vermont 50, or the Quechee Balloon Festival. These beautiful New England villages combine quaintness with the cultural sophistication of the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. Simon Pearce Glass, Billings Farm & Museum, Sugarbush Farms, Skunk Hollow Tavern, and a variety of excellent dining experiences are all within 5 miles. Killington and Okemo are approximately thirty-five-minute drives, offering world-class skiing. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
