This cozy, secluded cottage with great views is adjacent to Half Mile Farm and includes deeded access to Apple Lake which is a short stroll away. Downtown Highlands and its renowned restaurants, shopping, and small-town charm is just two miles away. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 fully equipped kitchens, this property accommodates 8 guests. Relax on the serene 3 level deck with views, unwind in front of the wood-burning fireplace, or enjoy one of the many outdoor activities in Highlands.

This cozy and updated cottage includes all the amenities for a perfect mountain getaway. The property sits on over an acre in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood that is just 2 miles (7-minute drive) from all that downtown Highlands has to offer. Take a short stroll to beautiful Apple Lake , enjoy a warm cup of coffee on the spacious and furnished 3-level deck, and cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace at days end.

The main home includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counters in the main living area (central heating and A/C).

The 4th bedroom and 3rd bathroom is in a separate lower level suite (baseboard heating and window unit A/C – note the window unit is rarely needed) with its own private entrance, living area, fully-equipped kitchen, and bathroom.

The top level of the deck includes an outdoor dining table that seats 4, 4 Adirondack chairs, a brand new Traeger grill, and a Solo Stove fire pit. The second level of the deck includes two Adirondack chairs and the lowest level of the deck includes a hammock which is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet with a beautiful view!

Interior amenities include stunning cathedral ceilings and a large, open living room with great views, recently renovated kitchen and bathroom with granite counters, wood-burning fireplace, smart TV with full HD cable package (includes HBO, Showtime, and full sports package), high speed internet access (and great cell service which is rare in Highlands), and full size washer/ dryer.

Interior living spaces include large windows that are nearly floor to ceiling which provide beautiful views and plenty of natural light. Additional amenities include coffee makers, a Keurig machine, Milk Frother, espresso machine (in lower level apartment), toaster, blender, food processor, all utensils/ kitchen essentials, a selection of games, linens, towels, bath essentials, and 2 24” Acer monitors which are perfect if you plan to stay for a while and need to plug in your computer and work from our home!

NOTE – the property includes several exterior stairs and an interior staircase and is not suitable for individuals who have difficulty traversing stairs or unsupervised young children who may be at risk of falling.
