“Our unit was very spacious and clean. The bed and pull-out couch were comfortable, and the kitchen had all of the plates, cookware etc that we needed. The interior does need updating as the carpet, furniture and wallpaper are quite dated, but we were definitely comfortable and enjoyed the fireplace and deck. We enjoyed being able to ski right out from beside one of the other units. My kids enjoyed playing in the games room and pool, however the pool and hot tub need to be cleaned (there was mold……

“The staff was nice, and the pool was a nice size but everything else was lacking to say the least. The rooms were not clean ( stains on comforters, hair in bathtub, broken hairdryer, stains all over the desk/ dressers) and our friends had old blood stains on their bedsheets and pretty sure the husband was bit by something after laying on the bed for a little while. We ended up leaving and not even staying the night.”

“I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately this stay at the Days Inn in Barrie was very disappointing. The room condition was far below what I would expect from even a basic hotel. The door jamb was broken and the paint around the trim looked inconsistent and poorly done. The back of the bathroom door was very dirty and the paint appeared uneven. When I arrived the room was freezing. I turned on the heat but it did not improve for over an hour, only to discover the window had been left……

“We had ants in our room. When we told the front desk the sent someone to come vacuum the room and told us there wasn’t any other rooms available. We slept with the ants for another night and left the next morning. Was pretty disappointed by there response to the issue ”
