“It was nice and clean. The staff was nice. We got a quiet, peaceful night's sleep.”

“The St. Elmo is under renovation. We were upgraded to a first floor suite which was nice. However, our stay was not as pleasant as the previous year because there was no breakfast included ... not even coffee in the morning. Last year there was a marvelous breakfast, but because the hotel is under renovation, the dining area was not available. I expect that everything will be outstanding once the renovation is complete.”

“The room smelled badly and really needs updating (mold in shower, sheets didn’t fit the bed and no room service throughout our stay. It may work for those who really want to “rough it,”. The hot tubs were slimmy and had a lot of bugs and mysterious “floaters.””

“It was a beautiful place! Loved our location. Close to the hot springs pools and right on the river. We could see and hear it from our rooms balcony. Slept with the window open and listened to it all night and it was awesome. There was also a trail loop that ran along the river that you could just hop on and enjoy. We walked it with our 6 year old and had a young buck come right in front of us to cross to the river for a drink. Our son was floored about it. The room was comfortable and……

Steve and Nova take wonderful care of the property and are always ready to assist if needed though we didnt need anything. It's so thoughtful that they provide a welcome basket and towels for the hot springs. I love having our own space AND our own deck to hang out and enjoy the view.”
