Convenient and clean hotel
This is a small Egyptian run hotel. There is no pool although it does have a roof terrace. There is a small resteraunt but I did not eat there, there is no bar. My room had air conditioning and an ensure bathroom with a shower, there was hot water although it was lukewarm more often than hot. If you are looking for a luxury hotel this is not for you but it was clean, the staff were helpful and friendly and for $11 a day very good value. There is a cafe nearby cAlled the Cacoa which does beer, coffee and decent food, just across the road is a resteraunt called the Kanaria which looks rough but has great food, try the camel steak, it is superb. The hotel is situated near the beach about 10 minute taxi ride (15 to 20 Egyptian Pounds) from the centre of the city, Sgeraton Street. If you want to use a pool or beach the the Three Corners Hotel at the bottom of the hill allows day access for 100EP (£10). If you are diving the hotel is right next door to Scuba Hurghada/Funy Divers, see separate review.
