“Bar staff not the most attentive. Ordered sandwiches after a long ride and 20 minutes later when I went to pick them up, the order was never given to the cook. Bar staff was not going to say anything until I saw her entering in the order and called her out on it”

“Apon arrival we were told we had no reservation. After a long wait and presenting my confirmation my stay was found. I must say that the place had a rate of 8. That truly was very surprising to me. The entrance was horribly dusty amd dirty. There was a smell coming from the second floor while checking in. It was so unpleasant.The second floor appliances were so dirty. Room looked ok. I always wipe things down myself. We found other people shoes on side of bed. It made us question how clean……

“We travel a lot for business and stay in hotels throughout the state of Maine and this hotel was by far one of the worst we have stayed at. The hotel staff was beyond unhelpful. We got into town an hour early and asked if we could check in early - they said they would charge us an additional $50 for early check in. I have never had a hotel do that. There amenities were lacking - no microwave in the room, the only tea they offered was plain lipton. Everything was the cheapest they could get away……

“I was not impressed by this property for a few reasons: cleanliness wasn't great, the bedding was rough to the touch and frayed on the side, we only had 3 bath towels for 4 people in the room, and the air conditioning was not adequate for the hot weather. We could not adjust the temperature lower.”
