Ramada Ithaca HotelPosted Nov 12, 2015
Pros: it was a decent hotel
Cons: The shuttle service hours.
The only issue I had was the fact that I wasn't told the Shuttle service stops at 4PM! I was left with the choice of taking a cab or a bus. it would have been nice for the hotel to tell me the driver leaves at 4PM when I asked about shuttle service.

Location: Near mall
It reminded me of a 1972 Motor Lodge. Everything is old. Bathroom hasn't been unpdated since the 70's.

Don't Do It!Posted Oct 30, 2015
Yes Ithaca is a small town and yes, there isn't much to choose from by way of hotels. But there has to be a better option. The room was dirty and so were the carpets. The whole place had a gross motel feel to it. We only stayed in town one night, but Ithaca is beautiful. I wish we had stayed at a nicer hotel.

Pros: Front desk staff was friendly and helpful

Location: Location was fine
Hotel was run down, musty smell in hallways and room, floor was dirty, did not appear to have been vacuumed recently

Very disappointedPosted Sep 7, 2015
Would never recommend this hotel. Only redeeming quality was proximity to Cornell campus. Rates much too high for what you get. This will be my last stay at a Ramada Inn.

Budget, Clean and family friendly all mixed into 1Posted Aug 31, 2015 on Hotels
We just needed a one night hotel so budget was the main concern. But I am married so I couldn't neglect cleanliness. I have kids so I needed a pool. Budget, clean and a pool in Ithaca did not exist until I found the Ramada. Could not ask for more. Everything was perfect. By far the cheapest name brand hotel in the area. The 2nd floor was newly renovated so cleanliness was actually brand new. And it had a very clean indoor and outdoor pool. oh and the bonus was comfort. My family had an incredible nights sleep with an incredible shower.

One night stay before IC movein. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel has seen better times, feels like downward trend. Grossly overcharged price for this kind of hotel, and does not include breakfast. Recommended only as a last resort.

Clean and relaxingPosted Aug 28, 2015
I wasn't there long but my stay was enjoyable. The staff was nice. The lounge closed to early but I understand if they are not busy it doesn't make since to stay open late, I just did get bake from work till close till 10 pm and would have like to been able to get a drink but I think they must have closed at 9 pm when the grill closed because they were not busy.
