“Safe, easy parking, clear instructions. Rooms have easy to clean surfaces. Bathroom (esp shower) was not as thoroughly cleaned as I would have hoped... remnants of shaving in the soap area and along the edges. I just pretended it was a campground shower. Also, plenty of towels but the blankets were thin and no extras provided in the room. I am sure I could have called for some, but it was the middle of the night when I was cold so I didn't want to.”

“I loved this hotel! It’s in a beautiful part of uptown Chicago (Andersonville- an adorable gayborhood), near lots of cute shops, thrift stores, pubs, and bakeries. It sits right across the street from a beautiful cemetery, filled with gorgeous old trees. The lobby is charming and welcoming, as is the rooftop deck, where you can see the Chicago skyline in the distance. The rooms are nicely decorated-tasteful, not overly adorned. Our room had a lovely balcony that we enjoyed. Beds were comfortable……

“My flight to Chicago got diverted because of terrible weather. I messaged the hotel in advance to cancel the first night and asked for a refund/discount. No one replied. When I checked in I explained again and all I got was 'hotel policy'. I had been in similar situations before with other holiday inn(in Japan) and they refunded me. Hotel policy or not, I did not stay in your room for one night. Charging me USD180 for nothing is not the best hotel service. I rarely gave bad reviews but this was……
