“Nice quiet boutique hotel ”

“The Good: Our stay at Dawn Ranch had several highlights. The gardens are beautiful and well-maintained, providing a great atmosphere. The cottages are comfortable and "nice," and we found the on-site restaurant to be excellent. The Warning (The "Free" Wine Tasting): Unfortunately, the experience was marred by a very misleading "free wine tasting" partner event. Having done many tastings in Sonoma and Napa, we expected a standard flight or variety. Instead, it felt like a bait-and-switch: *……

“Clean, friendly staff”

“Awesome little cabin with everything you need for two. Loved being able to stay with our dog. Really cool to pack light and cook for ourselves. We stayed off season so it was just us. Host was really sweet and checked in daily. Super short walk into town if you want to go to a bar, eat at a restaurant or grab coffee. Can imagine it being really fun to hang on the river when it’s warm. Thanks again we needed a nice getaway. ”

“We came in winter and we were the only one group of guest on that day. Room is not large but enough for two people. Water pressure for shower is not as good as normal hotel, which may due to their location.”

“I was under the impression that this hotel was a 5 star facility but it is absolutely not. It has a lovely lobby and the pre-check-in experience was fine but when I arrived, there was no one around except someone who looked like he didn't even work there. No one came to the door to help with bags, and there was no doorman even though the main wooden doors are extremely heavy to open. The person behind the reception barely looked up, offered zero assistance, and provided no information at all……
