During this time of the pandemic, anyone needing to cancel a reservation because of Government Travel Restrictions, Quarantines, Flight Cancellations, and pre-travel positive test (medically documented by the testing agency) directly related to COVID-19 will be given a 100% regardless of the standard cancellation policy. Cancellations for any other reason will be held to our standard cancellation policy.
Also, Our unit is thoroughly cleaned between each guest, ALL linens and towels are changed out with freshly cleaned linens, All surfaces are cleaned with disinfectant, and we have installed a wall mounted hand sanitizer dispenser on the interior near the entry door. This dispenser will be filled between each guest.

Unit #144 is a one of Islander s prime Garden/Partial Oceanview unit (the first photo is the actual view from the lanai of Unit # 144). Unit # 144 is a privately-owned and managed unit in the Islander On The Beach Resort Complex in Kapaa, Kauai, HI and is the perfect resort on the Coconut Coast of Kauai in which to vacation! Our air-conditioned unit is a !st floor end unit on the East end of the Oahu Building, and provides our guests with a fabulous view of the Garden, pool, and ocean beyond. The ocean is located less than seventy-five (75) yards from your private Lanai. By facing northeast our guests experience amazing views of the sun rising up from the Pacific Ocean.
The Islander complex offers a large swimming pool, hot tub, and Tiki Bar all located within twenty-five (25) yards of our unit. The Tiki Bar serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic tropical beverage and is open until 9:00 PM nightly. Also, the complex offers Happy Hour (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM daily) with live Hawaiian Music on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Our studio room (there is no private bedroom) is great for a traveling couple as there is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, Keurig Coffee Maker, and microwave. The condo also has its on free secure High-Speed WiFi (200 Mbps), free local telephone calling and free long distance calls to the US mainland, Canada, and Mexico. The bed is a Queen-size and the room also has standard sized sleeper sofa.
Please note that this room does not have a washer/dryer and there is no washer/dryer facility on site that our guest can use. However, there is a nice clean laundromat within a 5-7 minute drive if you to do some laundromat during your stay.
Located on Kauai s East-side (Coconut Coast) Islander on the Beach is great for exploring the entire island of Kauai! You can easily explore the attractions to the North in Princeville, Hanalei, Ke e Beach, Kalalau Trail on the Napali Coast in under an hour, as well as attractions to the South and West like Poipu, Hanapepe, the Waimea Canyon and Polihale State Park.
Located within a three (3) minute walk of our unit, is the newly renovated Coconut Grove Market Place offering plenty of dining and shopping option. Additionally, within a five (5) drive of north of Islander is Old Kapaa Town providing virtually any type of shopping and amenity you could want to enhance your vacation on the Garden Isle. There is a Safeway a short drive away as well, where you can stock up on all your groceries.
While the studio unit does not provide a full-kitchen, there is a kitchenette with limited utensils, and dinnerware that enable you to make use of the BBQ grills located next to the pool deck, if so desired.
Please note, this is a 1st floor unit located on the east end of the Oahu Building.
Georgia and I live on island and manage/maintain our unit ourselves ensuring that all is maintained to our standards. We do employee the services of a professional cleaning service.

We highly recommend that that you secure your rental car reservation PRIOR to booking this unit. This summer there appears to be a shortage of rental cars available in the islands. Failure to be able to secure a rental car DOES NOT qualify as an exception to our standard cancellation policy.
