“Very accommodating. Didn’t like first room in motel. Drab, noisy. Explained to check in staff and was moved to log cabin with King bed and bath and parking space outside door. Still small but very nice and comfortable. Fridge, microwave , desk, chair, tv. I would suggest booking directly with Powder House yo avoid confusion about room. Price in off season reasonable ( the same or less). ”

“The staff is awesome. We stayed there 2 nights and I left my extra pair of glasses in the room. They found them and is sending them to our home in Michigan, no charge. It was convenient having the restaurant in the hotel. Staff and waiters were polite and helpful.”

“The property was awesome.the 1880 train goes right by the cabins and it is located well to travel out for the morning, return to make a light lunch and then travel back out after lunch.Can't say enough how much we where impressed with the cabin.it was very clean and had all the amenities of home.”

“Amazing home, just as described and shown. On the side of a hill with good views and lots of native animals,,,deer, rabbits, turkeys! New appliances, amazing garage/game/bar area. Location very central to all attractions and parks. South Dakota is beautiful, clean and VERY friendly.”
