“Owner was very accommodating with an early check in on a cold rainy day. Perfect space for two couples.”

“Clean rustic cabin. No frills but everything you need. I would suggest a grab bar in the shower but everything else was fine. Helpful manager. We enjoyed the fishing. Would have done more but it rained.”

“Good ole fashioned one room suite, the bed was comfortable. The Host, Pat introduced herself to us and said y’all must be the ones in suite 8! And we asked her how she knew and she said because you’re the only one I haven’t met yet! She was a blast, and the spot on lake LBJ is prime! We were lucky enough to get a room for July fourth and the fireworks were right across the lake- we had the best view from the sky dock! We are not boat people, but we still had a great time hanging out around the……

“When we first walked in to the condo, it reeked of cigarettes. The return air vent, above the refrigerator, was absolutely filthy! It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years! The condo said it would sleep 5, which is how many we had, with the 3rd bed being the couch. There were no linens, blankets, anything for the couch. Fortunately, we brought a couple of blankets. The “resort”itself was lacking. There was no water trampoline, as advertised. We attempted to go by the office twice, and both……

“We were looking for a quick weekend getaway, and found it at Valentine Lakeside. In these strange times, it's not easy to find a place where you instantly feel comfortable. The "no-touch" check-in process, worked great. We will definitely be back.”

“What a cute place to stay. Back yard beautiful w big shady trees w two story dock with up top being a great place to relax w cocktails…we fished…and caught fish…family could dock their boat and just off the main beating path of the main lake! We also grilled steaks and just relaxed!! Quiet area! Great find!!!”

“Its located right on the water. The cabin was clean and as described. All the essentials at hand. Ms. Pat was very hospitable and prompt with what few questions we had. I was able to fish out on the docks like I planned and hung out atthe pool . Overall experience was great. We will definitely return”

“The location of the "resort" is convenient being by the confluence of the Colorado and the Llano portions of the rivers, and that was nice for boating. However...the apartment is totally run down. One of the showers didn't work, leaky faucets, window unit AC units, old furniture, kitchen was minimally stocked. The staff were kind as could be and super helpful. Some updating could make this place nice. The beds were comfortable.”
