"My friends and I stayed at the Casita for an extended weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! The Casita is nestled in a quiet corner of Valentine Lakeside Resort just steps away from LBJ and has plenty of room to accommodate 5 people. "Good ole fashioned one room suite, the bed was comfortable. The Host, Pat introduced herself to us and said y’all must be the ones in suite 8! And we asked her how she knew and she said because you’re the only one I haven’t met yet! She was a blast, and the spot on lake LBJ is prime! We were lucky enough to get a room for July fourth and the fireworks were right across the lake- we had the best view from the sky dock! "The place is clean and nicely updated. The communication was outstanding. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The management office was very eager to ensure our experience was a good one. We had to call with one request and they took care of it immediately!"

"The location of the "resort" is convenient being by the confluence of the Colorado and the Llano portions of the rivers, and that was nice for boating. However...the apartment is totally run down. One of the showers didn't work, leaky faucets, window unit AC units, old furniture, kitchen was minimally stocked. The staff were kind as could be and super helpful. Some updating could make this place nice. The beds were comfortable."
