"The hotel has definitely gone downhill a bit. Recently stayed and the suite we were in had a constant loud AC running all night and the mini fridge was also loud, unable to get a good night sleep.Also the carpet had red stains and front staff at desk could be more nice, their not very friendly. "

"The facility was great! Lots of fun activities and entertainment for children. The rooms were quiet and remained evenly temperatured with no loud a/c units! The full facility was cleaned thoroughly! It’s convenient to have the restaurants on site, all were great with the exception of the dinner buffet at Bricks, which I would absolutely not recommend due to it being highly overpriced for less-than-mediocre food that was completely unappealing and had been sitting under the warmer for far too long."

"This is a great resort for a family or extended family stay-cation. With many pools, golf, a fishing pond, rec center for the kids, and daily activities, everyone can find something to do. Escondido is a quaint burb of San Diego with many cool breweries and wineries for the grownups. Would recommend to anyone with kids looking for a low key vacation of a week or less."

"The staff was really friendly and welcoming. I was able to check in early, which was nice. The parking was great and I liked that there were cameras in the lot it. Made me feel more secure. The room itself looked clean, but there were a few issues. I noticed tiny spiders in the bathroom, the toilet was a little loose from the floor, and there weren’t any blankets on the bed—only the fitted sheets. I actually had to go out and buy a blanket, which was unexpected. It was okay for a one night stay, but I personally wouldn’t choose to stay here for multiple nights. I hope some of these things can be improved because the staff was very friendly and this hotel deserves a chance. "
