“very dirty, tube sink not working, not recommend at all!!”

“The key cards kept not working. Said pet friendly online but was not. There was beer cans on the ground outside. Just not a great place overall.”

“Was the worst experience for us first thing they gave us a room the was not clean smelling bad. They didn't clean, I said in the from desk., they changed us to other was same dirty, and had bugs in the bed. We can sleep for the itching. We paid for two nights, but we can't stay one more week left and we called for refund for one night. I still waiting for my refund.”

“This hotel was amazing! It offered fun things for kids like roller skating and bounce houses. They also have a bar and do karaoke for the adults. I love that you can still tell it used to be a school and the rooms are comfortably updated. Also, no two rooms are exactly alike so it's different every time you stay! It is veteran operated so very military friendly as well. I would stay here again and will recommend Local to family and friends!”

“It is a quaint, antique hotel, right in the middle of Main Street. A wonderful town with so much to offer in addition to this beautiful hotel: O’Malleys, Pirtle’s Winery, Avalon Cafe, Weston Roastery, Hollady Distillery, Weston Tobacco, Beers to You, and so much more! The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is that they need to figure out their payment system for the bar area and the restaurant/cafe area: there seemed to be some confusion as to where to order a drink, who to pay, etc. It……

“Lovely hotel, very clean. Would have liked for the 2 room suite to have a bigger fridge with a freezer in it. Great hot breakfast and plenty of seating too!”

“My Place was very nice. Breakfast is not served but discounts for IHOP are available. Many restaurants and shops are within .5 of a mile. Refrigerator, toaster, and two electric stove plates and microwave are in room. Also a recliner in room.”

“I had a really nice stay there. The hotel is very nice and clean. The owners were super helpful. We had an air conditioner that was making a rattling noise and kept us up at night and the owner put in a new one for us. I was very impressed with that.”

“The property was very nice and welcoming. When we walked in, everything smelled clean and fresh with no odors throughout the hotel. Our room was comfortable, and the TV worked well, although I wish there were more local news channels available so guests could stay updated on what’s happening around Kansas City. The only issue we experienced was that the computer/ATM was not working, which took a little extra time. Other than that, breakfast was excellent with no complaints, and check-out was……
