This was a last-minute reservation for myself and my family as we were on a road trip and it was late and we were ready to stop for the night. This was the only vacancy we could find, but being that it came through Expedia, I felt OK about it. When we got there the guy at the front desk was nice and chicken was easy, but when we got to our room it was not even ready yet, They were actively cleaning it and we had to wait. Anyway when we got in the room, you could tell it had just been cleaned as there was a strong odor of whatever they use to clean the room and what streaks on the furniture and puddles in the bathroom from their mops. The door had a wood panel screwed onto the inside part of the door knob, luckily that deadbolt worked as the top hinge lock only had half and was therefore not functional. We ended up backing the furniture in front of the door for safety. There was no lid on the toilet seat, and the actual toilet seat was only screwed on with one bolt. The armrest of the chair was barely holding on and ready to give out. I was glad to have a place to stay for myself and my family, but to have to pay what I paid for this night was ridiculous. I paid less than this 2 weeks ago at a Holiday Inn, which had breakfast included and coffee in the room. This place barely had soap (one bar by the cracked sink.) I think that Expedia should take a closer look at the locations that you suggest to your members- this place was appalling!!!!!
