We really liked the hotel and its location. It made for a quiet stay. The hotel itself looked great and we liked room, as well. The park across the street was a plus, especially since we were traveling with our dog. On that note, the room we checked into had fleas, a fact we discovered after our dog was down on the carpet for a bit. We later found a live flea in one of the chairs. We reported the incident downstairs and we were booked into another room. We understand that things like this can happen in hotels that accept dogs, but our first room had no shampoo, and our second room’s body wash dispenser was broken. This can only mean that proper cleaning of the rooms in between guests is not completed. This led to a late night purchase of flea spray, a thorough inspection of our dog, and a rather uncomfortable stay. Although the hotel staff was very friendly, we were ultimately disappointed.

The valet smoked a cigarette before getting my car and my car still smells like it. Pool is something you would find at a motel 6. We order room service for two plates was $60 (fees are ridiculous) and it was poor quality, and portions were small. The restaurant closes at 2 so room service was all we had for a late lunch. Staff was very friendly and that’s a plus. I will not return.
