“The location sits beside the river Ouse. Beautiful location. Restaurants, shops, mall, all nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was immaculate and checked in with me daily to see if I needed anything. The restaurant was fabulous, outside seating and reasonably priced. I made this home for two weeks while I visited from Seattle. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed and I will definitely return here when I come back again. Highly recommended!”

“Comfortable very well equipped chalet. The chalet had everything I needed - kitchen utensils, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Also tv. Comfortable bed too. The setting is lovely right on the river bank and useful to have parking right next to the chalet. There was also some outdoor space and walks right from the chalet. ”

“I stayed at the Jester while I was in the area for business. Bas and his chef Derek bent over backwards to accommodate during what was a very difficult time for them at the tail end of the second lockdown. With no other staff to support them, and making preparations for the reopening, they still found time to make sure I had access to evening meals and breakfast, despite the fact they had no reason to open the kitchen, just to serve me. As my stay extended in to the reopening period post……
