Location was the best. Close to Plaza Del Sol, Plaza Mayor, etc. The room was very comfy and clean. The only not great was that room was very hot and aircon was only on heater mode, but overall experience was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
This is a lovely small Art Deco hotel in an amazing location right in the centre of beautiful Madrid. I emailed the hotel three times from when we booked until a couple of days before our booking to confirm we would be able to check in at 2am and Gabriel did then confirm it would be alright. Apart from a taxi to and from the airport we didn’t need to use any public transport as everything was well within walking distance. It’s a minute’s walk to the department store with the excellent food court on the ninth floor and views over the city, and there is a pharmacy and lots of nice cafes and restaurants on the way. There is also a supermarket a couple of minutes away. The room was clean with a huge bed, a safe above the wardrobe and a pod coffee machine. The coffee pods and two cartons of water were restocked each day. The bathroom was bright and the shower very powerful but due to the shape of the shower cubicle and the door opening into it, it was quite hard to get into (and I’m a slim female). My gym loving husband couldn’t get in it and had to leave the door open. The breakfast buffet was served 8-11.30am in a lovely room but as we had leave at 7.30am for a trip and at 6am for our flight home we only had two out of the four breakfasts each that we had paid for.
This is a great little boutique hotel. The rooms are exactly as shown. Smaller than normal hotels and still comfortable. Some of the 7th floor rooms have balconies overlooking the palace that you can lounge on. Really great surprise!! Loved staying here and if I am ever in Madrid again, I would love to stay here again.
This was a great place, central to so much with good food and shopping in walking distance. Staff were helpful and so kind. The room was clean and spacious. Will definitely come back!
