The Mohican Lodge and surrounding areas for walking/running/hiking is just a perfect weekend getaway. My husband and I spent the weekend there for a half marathon race. The trails around Pleasant Hill Lake are spectacular. The lodge itself is very nice, rooms are comfortable, food choices are good and the staff is very accommodating. I highly recommend this property!

The staff was very friendly. The room was nice, and I enjoyed my view of the forest. I would have enjoyed hiking more had there been no hunting on the trails, but since it was Christmas, I understood that was the risk.
