Winding River Cottages on the Menominee-evergreen Cottage

Riverfront cottage with kitchen and patio
This beautiful property is home to two newly remodeled and renovated cottages and one house, all of which are directly on the Menominee River, about 5 minutes outside of Marinette. You will have access to your own private patio and fire-pit area. This cottage is approximately 650 square feet each with two bedrooms, one bath, and a living room/kitchen area. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has a bunk bed with full-size mattresses. The beds are outfitted with 100% cotton sheets, blankets, and quilts. There is also a down comforter on each bed. Each bedroom is approximately 100 square feet with plenty of windows to see the beautiful surroundings. There is also a futon in the living room, which can be used as a full-sized bed. The bathroom has a tiled shower, a toilet, and a granite-topped vanity with a sink and mirror. The towels are all 100% cotton. The kitchen has a full-size stainless gas stove/oven, a full-size stainless refrigerator/freezer, and a full-size stainless over-the-stove microwave oven. The kitchen is fully stocked with matching dishes, utensils, glassware, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. There is a table that seats two and can easily open up to seat eight people. There is a coffee maker and a toaster in each cottage, along with a sideboard/buffet that opens up into another table that can be used to seat more people, play games, or use as a desk. The cottage has a 50" flat-screened TV with internet access, a selection of board games, and some books to read while relaxing during your stay. The living area has double glass doors that open onto your own private stamped-concrete patio, right on the water, that has a small patio table and 4 chairs. The walls of the cottage are a mixture between ship-lap and a light gray drywall color in the living area and ship-lap with calming blue drywall in the bedrooms. The floors throughout look like a beautiful cottage plank, but are actually vinyl--so no need to worry if the kids come in with wet feet. Everything about this cottage is calming and relaxing. There is a gas/charcoal grill for the cottages to share, as well as six kayaks with paddles to use at your leisure. There is parking for 2 vehicles. There is a pier/dock where you can tie your boat or you can rent out Sylvan pontoon. Discuss rental pricing with owner directly. The house has approximately 2,500 square feet, in which there are two bedrooms with queen mattresses, one bedroom with a king mattress and sitting area, and a game area that has two full-size futons. The bedrooms with the queen beds have glass doors that open up to the river, while the bedroom with the king bed is surrounded by windows overlooking the river. There are two full-sized bathrooms; one is upstairs in the master bedroom, while the other is on the main level. The living area has leather furniture, a dining table that seats 6, a full kitchen with stainless appliances, and a natural fireplace.
Air-conditioned accommodations at this cottage offer coffee/tea makers and hair dryers. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas. Bathrooms include showers.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or nearby; fees may apply.

      Relaxing Stay with amazing views

This property was decorated as beautiful and it was a perfect peaceful get away. Owners were also wonderful with giving ideas of things there were to do in the area that could fill anyone's schedule if you are looking for things to do.

        Perfect Fit for Our Needs

Great Property. Was there with boat to fish the river. Back patio, no more than a few feet from shore. Nice grounds. Great looking from outside. Inside was impeccably clean and appeared new. Host greeted us with a big smile. Appliances all new. Bathroom and shower were spotless. Don't get the wrong idea, when I say we were there to fish, this place is not a just a fishing cabin, conveniently located for such, but this place is perfect for a couple(s) or small family get away. There is nothing that could have made it better.

        5/5 Excellent

          Our most memorable vacation ever.

The hospitality of Tricia and Tom was unforgettable..they made our experience one we will never forget. Such down to earth people. The cottage had everything you would need as necessities. Beautiful location..very clean....amazingly decorated... Pictures do not do justice for how beautiful the waterfront is....a must see... We cannot express enough this vacation was great.. We will definitely be going back.
