The rooms and halls smelt like smoke.

Great atmosphere. A high end experience for a reasonable price.

Convenient downtown location. Rooms were pretty good. Not too dated and clean. Front desk was often missing staff, though when they came back, they were helpful and friendly.

I picked this hotel based on pricing and different room options available versus all the other standard hotel rooms. We were able to pick a loft room that was spacious and clean. Windows were not ideal as the ones that were not whited out in the room (most of them were blocked off with white, non see through film, were facing a parking garage instead. Seems like those should have also been covered at that point. The set up of having to check in then walk back out and into another building was different but not a deal breaker. Management that checked us in was amazing and he heard it was my son's bday and brought us a special treat almost immediately after check-in so that was a wonderful touch! We slept well and had no issues. If you are looking for something that is more walkable to restaurants/bars, may want to look further but if you have an event at the convention center then this is the place. Ubers came almost immediately to pick us up anytime we needed it. Last point I will share, thought parking was free however, upon arrival, learned that it is NOT and we paid $40.00 plus tip for valet overnight but maybe I should have looked for a street option however I did not want to for safety reasons so I sucked it up and paid the valet fee instead.

Had a strange experience with water in bathroom sink. At times only could get hot water. Also out of bath gel and lotion.
