Very mixed feelings about this place. Undoubtedly beautifully decorated, but lacks the service and prestige of a top hotel. They say the rooms don't have keys because they're 'family', and the staff were very loud in the mornings outside the rooms. One of the showers was dripping, tap broken, with lukewarm water. Dangerously slippery too.
Most disappointing thing was the transfer. Expect a good 5-10 mins walk to/from the actual car, carrying your own luggage. Ridiculously overpriced (they charged 10 euros more than our next hotel which was 2 miles further). They then tried to charge us the same 25 euros to get into town. Unexplained and hidden charges, which they only told us at the end as we checked out. They did take 5 euros off but do not take whatever they offer. It'll cost you max 5 euros to get in/out of the city via a local yellow cab (fixed price).
They were unclear about our spa booking. Even though it said couple hammam-massage (90 mins), it turned out to be a hammam and massage for one after another, not at the same time. The owner Helene (who admittedly is otherwise very pleasant) offered us a bottle of wine to make up for the mistake in previous email communication, which we never got. Spa unclean.
Be careful with the location. Being right in the middle of the medina, it is also down a very narrow alley. We had stones thrown at us whilst walking to the cab just outside the alley.
