Location! Location! Location! Perfect. The lobby was nice. Check-in/ check-out was smooth. I will say that the room needed a LOT of TLC and the towels gave sandpaper serious competition. I was on the 2nd floor so the elevator wasn't an issue for us oer se ... HOWEVER it was super slow; definitely something to consider if you stay there on a higher floor. The fact that they only perform room service every 3 days could be an issue for some.

I will start with the positive. The location is perfect. Right across from the beach, although there was construction and had to go around. The neighborhood is adorable with some shopping and dining. The staff was so nice and helpful. The lobby is really cute and decorated nicely. Now for the room. The only positive I can say is the blacony view is worth thr extra fee. The room is dingy. It needs a paint job really badly. There was streaks running down the walls, something hanging from the bathroom ceiling looks like a wire covered in mold. The bathroom floor tile is in bad need of a full scrub. Trying to find some where to plug in your phones was a challenge. The one we did use was cracked it worked but was not in a convenient spot. No place to charge phones near the bed. The outlet in the bathroom didnt work at all, so if I need to fix my hair or blowdry it. I didnt have an outlet near a mirror. This hotel has so much potential, but it needs alot of maintenance. At this point its somewhat past cosmetic issues. The beach and the people were lovely.

What we love most about The Broadmore is its convenient location — close to the beach, restaurants, and the bus stop, which makes getting around so easy. Elevator? it doesnt matter. We don’t mind climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor; in fact, we enjoy walking up after a big dinner. This is our fourth stay, and we definitely plan to come back. It’s a simple, cozy place that suits our needs perfectly.

This reminded me of the movie revenge of the nerds 2 when they hit that hotel in Miami Beach . They were really nice but the place was a dump . The elevator took like 10 minutes every time , not exaggerating! We took stairs most times . The sheets in the room were dirty I couldn’t believe they would give us a room with smelly sheets . That first night was horrific. Yes the beach is right there , we should have just slept on the sand . Not worth the money . Only thing positive I can say is the staff was very friendly.

The property was noted as under construction however, there was no obvious work being done. We were on the fifth floor and the elevator was virtually not working and scary when it worked. No room service offered at all. Was told additional request to room would be serviced within 24 hours. No phone in rooms to call and request anything, if needed. Stayed 4 days and was told would have maid service on day 3, that did not happen. We had 2 towels, wash cloths, etc - for entire stay in a double queen booked room. Ice machine is a 2 person job (but staff is aware and made it comical and did help). Rooms were scarce with no drawers but sufficient closet space. Bathrooms was very very tiny. Lighting was very poor in room. Internet seems to shut off almost nightly around 9pm. Staff was friendly and was aware of the “conditions” and did make it a more light hearted situation, which made it easier (thank you). Onsite restaurant was good and had daily happy hour(s). Staff was friendly and tried to mitigate the environment as much as possible. Overall, other than the location, the hotel with sub par and we probably will not stay there again which is unfortunate because we make an annual trip to Miami.

My experience at Broadmore Hotel was great. Jennifer at the front desk was super friendly, kind, and professional. She made the check in process so simple and easy. The area is very centric, they have pharmacies, restaurants, and the beach is walking distance. I will save this hotel as one of my favorites and will definitely come back whenever I visit Miami. I highly recommended this place. Jennifer, thank you again for your kindness!

Falsely advertised as a decent place to stay. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you enjoy sleeping with cockroaches, showering in cold water that doesn’t drain, and smelling cigarette smoke everywhere you go. Didn’t mind the brown water that first came out of the tub initially that went away or the construction, but $400 for no hot water and roaches is absurd. I ended up switching hotels last minute to a place similarly priced and close to the beach that was amazing.

I've stayed at this property before, and it was much nicer, cleaner and did not have any construction going on. The property warns about the construction on the website but says it's at the neighboring building, when in fact it's right in front of the hotel, not allowing you access to the beach or allow any rideshare to drop/pick you up in front of the hotel. My room was clean enough! The front desk staff are all very nice and welcoming and you feel like you're at a 5-star hotel with the customer service they give you; I just wish the hotel was as nice.

The room was very outdated and in need of working TV, draining shower, and updated furniture and curtains. However all the older historic hotels I’ve stayed at in a Miami Beach are the same way.

The hotel is definitely outdated but i love the nostalgia.Elevator was super slow but atleast it worked..My balcony room was excellent and better than expected. The smell all around each floors was so fresh. Richie was so patient and amazing and Panela was my savior and went over and beyond to accommodate to my needs and very pleasant.Housekeeping turn over was awful and had to still go to desk to get my missing items..I am definitely coming back..Thanks guys for a wonderful vacation!

At 6 months pregnant with twins, I booked this hotel for the convenience of being able to walk straight out to the beach. Unfortunately, ongoing construction made the walk longer but not unbearable. Biggest complaint is the slow… SLOW elevator. Our room was on the 4th floor and I ended up having to take the stairs way more than I should have being 6 months pregnant. Plus our room was not as expected… manageable but missing some of the amenities mentioned on the site such as hairdryer, safe, etc. housekeeping didn’t come at all on our 5 night stay, and there were exposed wires in the light cords. Won’t stay again. :(
