About this property

Escape to Amish country for some R&Rx. <br>

Family-friendly guesthouse in Middlebury
Escape the hustle and bustle of every day life at the White Barn Inn. Nestled in Amish country it's like taking a step back in time. Enjoy watching horse and buggies clip clop past.
If you're so inclined, you can experience your own buggy ride in nearby Shipshewana where they give buggy tours.
The hosts do live on site in the century-old farmhouse.
Although the Guest House is not inside the Barn it is named after the iconic, original bank barn on the property.
Our guesthouse is a quiet spot for you to relax and unwind. Whether you're traveling for pleasure or for business we want you to feel welcome and "at home." The guesthouse is all one level. The bathroom does have a small step for the toilet and shower area.
Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a king bed will give you the good night's rest that you're looking for. There is also an additional queen bed that can be set up to add extra sleeping space in bedroom 1.
The living room is cozy and offers comfy seating with a sectional sofa and LaZBoy recliner. There is a smart tv for those that want that convenience. There are also board games and toys and books for younger children in a cabinet.
There is a full kitchen available if you'd like to cook up some 'grub.'
Towels and wash cloths, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, as well as a hair dryer are provided in the bathroom.
Just outside the front door there is an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy some fresh air. A campfire can be enjoyed upon request or try your hand in a lively game of cornhole or badminton. (Available seasonally and upon request)
Come, and enjoy...
Air-conditioned accommodations at this guesthouse offer coffee/tea makers and hair dryers. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Bathrooms include showers. Cribs/infant beds are also available.

Amish Country Relaxation
We had such a wonderful relaxing time. The cottage was so clean and everything we needed. It’s close to the Pumpkinvine Trail as we enjoy bike rides. Julie was a gracious and attentive host (though we didn’t need to contact her about anything). We’ll be back die sure.

Amazing getaway spot.
The accommodations were so comfortable it was like being in our own home. We chose the White Barn due to limited mobility and other health problems. We were able to park right at the front door and the large size of the rooms and the layout made getting around really easy. The kitchen was as well stocked as mine at home. Who would expect real butter for their breakfast toast and evening popcorn. There were so many things to do and see in the area. We are already planning another visit next year.
