*Waited at the front counter for more than 10 minutes before someone showed up. *Though I had made my reservation more than 2 months prior, I was told they didn't have a room available. They were "booked up". If I wanted to pay for a suite, they had one available. *There was another man at the counter when I walked in, he was also told no vacancy. His reservation was for 3 nights. They had a room reserved for him nights 2 & 3, but no longer had a room available for night 1. He left to go find other accommodations. *I asked the desk clerk, as she wrestle with the leash attached to a large dog behind the counter, what she suggested I do. She calmly said, without looking away from the computer screen, " I'm giving you a room". *The room carpet was stained and had wet spots, especially in front of the air conditioning unit under the window. *The curtains were unattached in several places and nearly falling off the rod. I had to reattach what I could just to close them, but many hooks and clips were broken and/or missing. *There were no cups, ice bucket, or coffee maker in the room or bathroom. *The top security lock (chain or flip lock) had been removed, so the only door lock available was the deadbolt that opens with a card key. *The comforters on the beds were stained. * The sheets appeared clean, but when I pulled the top sheet to untuck it, the bottom mattress lining also pulled out. It was torn and very tattered. *Unbelievable! Total sleep time: 1hr 37mn

poorly maintained building

This property was horrible. Bugs in the room. Poor plumbing. Breakfast was basically dry cereal and juice. But wait. No milk for the cereal and the juice machine was empty. Guy at the desk just shrugged when I told him my complaints. I travel a lot and this was one of my worst experiences at a hotel.
