Entering the gate to Carmel's Twelve Gables enclosed grounds, guests are greeted with a spacious circular drive, well manicured grounds and garden and the Mediterranean style architecture of the stucco structure capped with a red clay tile roof. The open, airy floor plan is graced with an abundance of windows and French doors, spilling sunlight across marble and hardwood floors. The large windows and spacious back deck also provide spectacular views of the verdant Santa Lucia foothills. The kitchen is a family or private chef's delight, with a six burner gas range and oven, stainless steel Subzero refrigerator and freezer, to the oak cabinetry and granite counter-tops and back-splashes. Guest may wish to take morning coffee in the adjoining breakfast “nook” or formal dining room. The spacious master bedroom suite has a King bed, luxurious bedding, sitting area and gas fireplace. The adjoining master bethroom provides his and hers sinks, a large glass shower stall and large Jacuzzi bathtub. The second bedroom offer guests a King bed while the third provides a Queen bed. Both come with luxurious bedding. The two spacious guest bedrooms adjoin a large pass through Jack and Jill bath, complete with a large tub and large glass shower stall. There is a bonus room that can be an office space and has a Queen Sofa Sleeper. We are sorry, we cannot accommodate pets, not even well behaved ones. County of Monterey Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate #001680 Monterey County Ordnance requires we collect Transient Occupancy Tax equal to 10.5% of rent. Some Vacation Rental websites do not support collection of T.O.T. In those cases, the Tax must be paid directly to Property Manager prior to or upon arrival for all Rentals shorter than 30 Days. Your hosts have provided the services of Coast Estate Real Estate Property Management, Inc., a locally owned and operated company. Your Property Managers are available by cellular phone, text messaging and email during your visit. Monthly rental rates are discounted to reflect that guests booking reservations of more than 28 days are required to pay Gas, Electric and Water Utilities in addition to the quoted rental rate. There is a completely separate guest house with year round tenants.
