"Aesthetically, it had a wonderful old world feel. You can tell they are still working on getting the hotel to where they want it but the details in place already are great. I loved the ipads coupled with the rotary phone in the room. The steakhouse downstairs while closed the 2 days we were there was closed really made me want to eats there. (Silk’s) The attention to detail is really strong draw for this hotel. I would definitely book here again. Comfortable bed, clean, nice bathroom linens...

"Dirtiest motel I have ever stayed in. Dried feces, vomit and possibly blood on walls around toilet. The smell of wet shower and mold permeatedmtue air. It was well lit, quiet and in a good location. The bed was reasonably comfortable. "

"The rooms are run down, my shower head leaked so bad that it sprayed over the shower curtain, my blankets legit had cigarette burns in them. Not joking. And if you're room is on the street side, it's unbelievably loud. Also most uncomfortable bed ive slept in. Locals i talked to all know to avoid this place"

"Everything was great and in proper working order.. except for the vacuuming of the room.. (there was crumbs and dust in the corners of the room. especially around the heater/air-conditioning unit in the room. and under the tables. there needs to be a trash can in the bathroom and a small table for clean clothes in bathroom while bathing. thank you.. "The property was beautiful and relaxing, with the private lake, manicured grounds and surrounded by majestic horses. The hosts were very welcoming. We even had an impromptu game of Cash Cab at breakfast since everyone says My Husband looks like the Cash Cab Host. It was a fun and personalized way to end our visit there! "

"Staff onsite was excellent. However, i did call 3 times and no one answered. Parking was horrible. If you have small children or disabilities i wouldn't recommend. Housekeeping was very noisy, both in halls and other rooms. I could hear vacuuming several rooms away. Toilet paper was very thin and scratchy. "

"The room was okay but worn and … not great. The door has a significant gap along the entire edge. Enough to peer into the hallway or actually allow someone to peer in. Weird. The room smelled musty and felt humid so I ran the ac even though it was November. The AC was so loud I had to watch tv with the captions on. The room was fine for catching a night’s sleep during a necessary stop but wouldn’t choose to stay at that hotel on purpose. "
