Recently had a weekend stay at the Apollo Beach Resort in unit #1009. Overall, had a pleasant stay, but not everything was great. Unit is getting worn around the edges and is need of a serious update. The whole place isn't very big and the kitchen was small with hardly any counter space and the cabinet doors were almost falling off. Bathroom could also use an update and the flush valve in the toilet would stick every now and then. On the plus side, the Ac worked great, TV's and cable are updated and the bed was comfortable. We were only looking for a clean place to sleep as we were in Marco Island for a wedding and the Marriot up the road was double the price, so I guess you get what you pay for. And must have missed the part about a $25 parking fee that the resort charges to park your car in the covered garage. Overall...would recommend as long as you keep your expectation reasonable.
