When I arrived, there was no record of my booking.The hotel said that they had no communication from hotels.com so I had to prove to them that I had a booking. After I showed them a copy of your mail, they gave me the wrong room. I was given a tiny one roomed room where there was no coffee or milk. The foot towel had a hole in it and the DSTV did not function.There is no table for a work station or a cupboard to put clothes away, only a clothes rack. I went to reception and after a 15 min wait was given a jug of milk and packets of coffee to take back to the room myself. The next morning I went to reception to query why I had the wrong room, whereby they grudgingly the two bedroomed chalet for which I had booked and paid for. At breakfast there was no menu and no bacon available. After I had 4 pieces of toast for breakfast I was offered a piece of sausage which I declined. Another guest , a regular, also complained about the general lack of service and he also had no coffee in his room. When I arrived back in the afternoon and went back to my chalet I was told to go to reception where they again asked me for a copy of the mail from hotels.com confirming my booking which I had already copied them . The chalet also had no coffee or milk and no DSTV remote. The hotel refused to give me a receipt and told me to sort it out with hotels.com. I called the hotel by phone and spoke to the sales Manager who was apathetic to anything I had to say. I will not be going back
