Septic overflowing
We stayed here to Easter egg hunt with the kids on a large property. There was septic overflowing in the backyard and it smelled terrible. House was run down, stains on carpet, and overall dirty. We were very disappointed. Contacted the property management and only received a partial discount for our stay.

Thanksgiving in New Braunfels
This farmhouse was perfect for our very small family Thanksgiving. It was immaculately clean with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We had a dog with us and the fenced in back yard was great for her. The house is older and needs some repairs - door handles, kitchen knobs missing, etc but this in no way interfered with our stay. And the management company was quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely return.

ladies trip
Perfect for 5 adults. Roomy kitchen and living room. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were great. Easy to get to all the surrounding destinations. Would stay in this house again!!

Artist's Home
Our family truly enjoyed the weekend at this former artist's home. We saw deer in the morning and long horn cattle next door. Overall, it was comfortable with plenty of room for the four of us. I do need to say that this home needs some basic care though. The foundation is breaking apart, there were cracks in the walls and the doors did not shut properly. We were killing mud dobbers because they were coming through the fireplace. The backyard needed care, we even saw deer ticks on the back patios because the bushes were so thick and the grass had not been cut. The front yard looked great though and we felt comfortable sitting on the front area of the porch. It's a beautiful old home filled with Angie Banta Brown's paintings that are for sale. I believe the property owner should respect the historic value of the home and get the foundation and backyard back in shape. Our family would consider going back as we did love the house.
