Spacious and Comfortable

Posted Aug 28, 2015
A friend of mine and I stayed at this hotel and we enjoyed it. The location is spectacular for anyone who enjoys all the cute, quaint shops, bars, pubs, cafe and restaurants of the east village! I would stay here again. There is construction going on which lead to the water being turned off for 2 of the 4 days we stayed. Luckily, one morning we got up early enough we were able to shower before the shut off, sadly the second morning we did not so we made our way back to the hotel later in the afternoon when the water would be back on. Now I understand this is totally out of their control which is why I am letting fellow travellers know if the chance of a water shut off has the chance at ruining your vacation you may want to stay somewhere else while construction is going on. Otherwise this place and the staff are all amazing!

Pleasant NYC hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2015
We chose this hotel because it was very close to a subway station and less than 1 mile from NYU. The staff was very pleasant from check in to check out. The hotel room was small but efficient, and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The only negative was in the bathroom, the towel bar was really close to the tub at head level and one of us did hit their head on it getting out of the shower. I would definitely stay there again.

It's a comfortable hotel

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Price and location
Cons: The housekeeper
Location: Restaurants, easy train access,
Great staff , convenient location so many restaurants near by , the room was comfortable and cozy its a small hotel so don't expect a lot of space the only thing bad was that our room wasn't ready when we checked in and had to wait 5 minutes outside the door for house keeping to finish not too bad but still we showed up 1 hour after check in time. and there was a toe nail in the air conditioner so I guess she missed a spot. But any way It's affordable cheapest hotel that week it's great if your not a particular person and you just want a decent bed to sleep on while in Nyc, thebed was very comfortable I fell asleep very quickly and I slept soundly it was quiet.

Bra hotell med perfekt läge

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Enkelt men trevligt och bra hotell. Små rum, men där hänger man ju ändå mest bara när man ska sova Trevlig personal, rent o fräscht. Bäst var ändå läget. Nära till metro, barer, restauranger etc.

Close to everything

Friendly front-of-the-hotel staff, relaxed atmosphere, helpful housekeeping. Access to major subway lines in under 10 minutes. Stock your mini-fridge with Whole Foods from across the street, or eat at any one of 3 Lower East Side institutions just east of the hotel. Culturally, there's an independent bookstore nearby on Prince Street, and a a string of movie theatres within minutes of each other. For my taste, the ideal place to stay.

Only stay if you must !

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Room size is standard for NYC - small! The bed was comfy enough and there was a coffee maker with good complimentary coffee. Whenever I tried to phone the front desk it was busy and we had a few things we needed to address The building is old but without character: the traffic noise is bad, the air conditioner was so noisy we had to switch it off at night to sleep. You can hear next doors TV All this would be ok if the price was lower but you can get a better hotel for the same money around flatiron or other uptown locations Only stay here if the address is a must - remember you will have to get the subway to see everything anyway so stay somewhere better.

My friends and I enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They went above and beyond their duties to find things for us to do and places for us to go to make our stay that much more memorable.

Tired and tiny.

Posted Jun 29, 2015
The common areas are dirty. The rooms are tiny and outdated. And there's not enough staff to handle simple things like check in and check out. The staff was nice, though.

Chambre en sous-sol sans fenêtre

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Emplacement
Cons: Chambre
Excellent emplacement. Mais mais chambre en sous-sol et avec une minuscule fenêtre donnant sur le rue : il serait correct de préciser ces conditions lors de l'achat de la chambre.
